New Delhi: A You Tuber, who had 1.2 million subscribers for his stunt driving acts, dies in horrific crash on Yamuna Expressway, police said on Monday.

Agastay Chauhan was driving from Agra to Delhi on Wednesday last when he tried to breach the maximum speed limit of his Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R - a 1,000cc superbike, according to NDTV.

Chauhan was speeding at 294 kmph making a video for his YouTube channel when he lost control, hitting a divider at 47 Mile point of the Yamuna Expressway.

The protective helmet he was wearing scattered into several pieces from the impact of the crash, causing the YouTuber to die of head injuries, the report said.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kalanidhi Naithani of Aligarh area said the action camera used by the biker to record speed has been recovered.

‘When we recovered the camera he wore during the bike ride, we came to know that his bike hit a speed of 294 kmph moments before the crash. An investigation is on,’ he added.

The officer said that the Vlogger had previously tried to breach 300 kmph speed limit on his motorbike, before his last attempt proved fatal.

Agastay Chauhan, a resident of Dehradun, had a huge fan following for his stunt driving acts on his YouTube channel ‘ Pro Rider 1000’ using his superbike Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R.

Agastay said in the last video to his channel that he was going to ride his bike at 300 kmph to see if it could go beyond the speed limit.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R, weighing a meagre 207 kg with an inline four engine, can achieve the speed of about 300 kmph, and is retailed at upwards of ₹ 16 lakh in India.

The motorcycle can quickly accelerate from 0-to 100 kmph within 3 seconds and hit 200 kmph in barely 10 seconds.
