New Delhi: Ex-Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan, who shared a picture of his pilgrimage to Makkah on Instagram, got his comment session flooded with chants of 'Jai Sri Ram' in the comment box. Retired cricketer and commentator Irfan Pathan posted the picture with a note that he was blessed to perform Umrah with his son. Under this, many right-wing extremists came with 'Jai Sri Ram' chants.

One of the best all-rounders India has ever seen, Irfan Pathan, retired from all formats of cricket in 2020. The player who scored 1105 runs and 100 wickets in 29 Tests has 1544 runs and 173 wickets in 120 ODIs and 172 runs and 28 wickets in 24 Twenty20s. He made his debut for India in the Test against Australia in December 2003, and last appeared for the country in the Twenty20 against South Africa in October 2012.
