Dietitians organisation achieves record for 10-hour webinar

Thiruvananthapuram: The Community Nutrition Forum achieved an Asian record of the ''longest webinar exclusively by dietitians'' by Universal Record Forum. The webinar, of consecutive ten hours length, was conducted on World Diabetes Day, November 14.

The webinar, intended for more than a thousand students as well as student police cadets, was conducted by dietitians Sripriya Shaji, Umakalyani, Sherin Thomas, Sonia Joseph, Jothi James, Sindhu S, Nissimol, Anu MV, Shruthi K, Mridula Aravind, Suchitra K and Shakira Sumaiyya attended the webinar. All were felicitated by Aswatthi Thirunaal Tamburaati with certificates at a function held at Kowdiar Palace.

The 'Community Nutrition Forum' is an online organisation operating in Kerala with the objective of preventing misinformation about nutrition and raising public awareness of healthy lifestyles in the face of infectious diseases like Covid-19. The organisation has already conducted awareness programs in 84 schools across the state.
