Mumbai: MP Supriya Sule, the daughter of NCP chief Sharad Pawar, was mobbed outside Sharad pawar's home on Friday by protesters from the State Transportation unit. According to reports, some of them misbehaved with her.

Approximately 100 MSRTC employees gathered outside Mr Pawar's home in South Mumbai on Wednesday, shouting slogans against the veteran politician. They accused him of ignoring their demands for making MSRTC a government entity.

According to News Agency ANI, Sharad Pawar said that "They are being misled. ST employees and we've a very old relationship, in last 40-50 yers I've not missed any session with them. This time protest was shown wrong path and result of that is an incident of today."

As a result of protest outside Mr Pawar's residence, police filed cases under different sections of the IPC against 105 people.

Since November last year, thousands of MSRTC workers have been on strike demanding equal treatment with State Government employees, as well as the merger of the cash- strapped Transport Corporation with the government.

A day before, the Bombay High Court had ordered the striking Transport Corporation workers to return to work by April 22nd.

Anil Parab, State transport minister, assured workers who returned to duty by the deadline established by the High Court that no action would be taken against them.

Several employees disrupted Mr Pawar's afternoon at his home in Mumbai, shouting slogans against him and throwing shoes and slippers.

"Some 120 MSRTC employees have died by suicide during the strike. These are not suicides, but murders of the state policy. We are firm on our demand of merger of the MSRTC with the state government. NCP chief Sharad Pawar has not done anything to resolve the issue," an agitating employee of the MSRTC told news agency PTI.
