New Delhi: The Delhi Police have lodged 26 FIRs in connection with the protests held across Delhi against the violence in Nuh. The protests, organized by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and the Bajrang Dal, were conducted without police permission.

The police have stated that the FIRs were lodged against unidentified participants of the protest and that they are analyzing CCTV records to identify them.

"A total of 26 FIRs were lodged in connection with the protests held at 26 different locations in Delhi, including ones held in Badarpur, Dwarka, and Subhash Nagar, under IPC Section 188 (pertaining to deliberate disobedience of an order duly promulgated by a public servant empowered by law to do so)," stated a senior Delhi Police officer.

Additional legal charges will be applied based on the findings from the CCTV footage.
