Congress MP Chaudhary Singh passes away during Bharat Jodo Yatra

Chandigarh: During party leader Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra in Punjab on Saturday, Congress MP Chaudhary Santokh Singh passed away from a heart attack.

During the yatra's rush in Phillaur Town, Singh fell and was transported in an ambulance to a hospital there where he passed away.

In 2019, Singh became the second-time MP from Jalandhar with a margin of 19,491 votes.
