Kota: Nine men returning from a wedding were killed when a car and a truck crashed head-on early on Sunday in the Jhalawar region of Rajasthan, according to authorities.
The deceased were returning from Dungri village in Bhopal when the tragedy occurred around 2:45 in the morning close to Eklera village. Richa Tomer, the superintendent of police in Jhalawar, said
While two persons were killed on the spot, seven others succumbed to injuries at a hospital, PTI reported.
One person was critically injured in the accident and has been admitted to the Jhalawar government hospital.
The deceased were aged between 18 and 30 years.
