The BJP has publicly distanced itself from recent comments made by Kangana Ranaut regarding the farmers' protests, cautioning the Lok Sabha MP from Mandi against making similar statements in the future.

On Monday, the BJP issued a statement expressing its disapproval of Ranaut's remarks, clarifying that her views do not reflect the party's position. "The statement made by BJP MP Kangana Ranaut regarding the farmers’ movement is not in line with the party’s opinion. The Bharatiya Janata Party disagrees with her statement," the party said.

Further emphasizing its stance, the BJP noted that Ranaut is "neither permitted nor authorized" to speak on matters related to party policy.

This clarification follows comments made by Ranaut, where she suggested that "Bangladesh-like anarchy" could have erupted in India under the guise of the farmers' protests. She credited the BJP leadership's foresight for preventing such a scenario, implying that external forces, aided by insiders, aimed to destabilize the country.

In its statement, the BJP reaffirmed its commitment to the principles of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas" (together with all, development for all, the trust of all, and efforts by all) and emphasized its dedication to maintaining social harmony.
