Biplab Kumar Deb, Chief Minister of Tripura resigns

Agartala: Top officials have said that the Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has resigned from his post after submitting his resignation to Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya.

On Saturday, Deb went to the Raj Bhavan accompanied by Union Minister Bhupender Yadav, on Saturday afternoon to submit his resignation to the Governor.

Deb became the Chief Minister on March 9, 2018 after the BJP-led alliance came to power by defeating the Left Front in the Assembly elections.
