Bihar: job aspirants gherao dep.CM Tejashwi Yadav
text_fieldsPatna: A massive crowd of CTET-pass job aspirants held a protest in Bihar's Arrah city on Friday, creating a situation against Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Friday, IANS reported.
During the run-up to the 2020 Assembly elections, Tejashwi Yadav had 10 lakh jobs and permanent jobs for contract employees. He was in the opposition before that, and he kept reiterating the promise that he would fulfil if elected to power.
The protesters alleged that even after becoming Deputy Chief Minister again, he had not made moves to the recruitment of teachers as per his promises.
The RJD leader, who is in charge of the Bhojpur district, reached the headquarters there on Friday to evaluate the development works. Since it was a scheduled visit, aspirants reached Patna-Arrah NH31. But the ministers did not stop there, and protestors reached the Circuit House and attempted to enter inside to remind him of his promise, IANS reported.
When they were stopped, they became furious and shouted slogans against the deputy CM. When he came out after meeting officials, the protestors crowded before his vehicle and stopped him from hearing out their grievances.
Tejaswi Yadav assured them that their demands would be met soon.
