Mumbai: The grandson of Balasaheb Thackeray, the founder of Shiv Sena, on Friday met Shiv Sena rebel Eknath Shinde who is also the Maharashtra Chief Minister, to extend his support, IANS reported.
Nihar Thackeray, the grandson, is the son of the eldest son of Balasaheb Thackeray, the late Bindumadhav Thackeray. Thus, he is nephew to former CM and Sena President Uddhav Thackeray as well as cousin to former state minister Aditya Thackeray.
Nihar is married to Ankita, the daughter of Bharatiya Janata Party leader Harshvardhan Patil. Likely he might launch his political career under Shinde's instruction.
