New Delhi: Facing allegations from the opposition that the BJP is attempting to undermine and alter the Constitution, the Centre will launch a dedicated portal called 'Hamara Samvidhan, Hamara Samman' to educate citizens about their legal rights.

The portal will be inaugurated in Prayagraj on Tuesday, marking the 75th anniversary of the Constitution's adoption and India's transition to a Republic, according to TOI.

As part of a nationwide campaign to raise awareness about the Constitution, the law ministry, in collaboration with high courts, bar associations, and law universities, has been organizing events across the country to ensure justice for all.

The second regional event of the year-long 'Hamara Samvidhan, Hamara Samman' campaign will be held in Prayagraj as part of the law ministry's 'Designing Innovative Solutions for Holistic Access to Justice (DISHA)' program, a central sector scheme.

Launched in January, the campaign has visited multiple cities, promoting and simplifying the understanding of the Constitution. The program features sub-campaigns like Sabko Nyaya Har Ghar Nyaya, Nav Bharat Nav Sankalp, and Vidhi Jagriti Abhiyaan.

Alongside promoting citizen participation on the portal, the law ministry has been encouraging advocates to join a pro bono panel of lawyers from various bars and law universities. These lawyers are recognized for their contributions through awards, incentivizing others to offer pro bono services.
