New Delhi: Sources in the Aam Aadmi Party reportedly said that the party leadership was not able to contact some of its lawmakers, hinting at potential defection.

A shocked leadership is convening at 11 am Thursday to take stock of the situation after accusing the BJP of trying to poach its MLAs.

Earlier, four AAP MLAs alleged that the BJP had offered them Rs 20 crore to join the saffron party, according to India Today.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal chaired the party's political affairs committee (PAC) Wednesday discussing alleged luring of its lawmakers by BJP as well as accusing the saffron party of misusing CBI.

The political affairs committee condemned FIR filed against Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and subsequent CBI raid ordered against him.

AAP PAC member and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh reportedly read out the PAC's resolution which claimed that the BJP asked Manish Sisodia to cross over to the Saffron party if he wanted cases against be quashed, offering him the post of chief minister.

Up on Sisodia's refusal, the BJP contacted several AAP lawmakers offering them Rs 20 crores each or face arrest.

Sanjay Singh accused the BJP of toppling governments throughout India by offering money and engaging in hooliganism.

He appealed the Prime Minister Modi to spend time solving peoples' problems rather than toppling the state government and sending the CBI and ED after political leaders.
