Hindus need to be strong; RSS will ensure that: Mohan Bhagwat
text_fieldsNagpur: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagawat said that Hindus need to become strong, and his organization will continue working on that, IANS reported.
"The Hindus need to be strong for which the Sangh will continue to work by taking everyone along," he said while addressing the book release function of 'Varta Ishanya Bharatchi' (Commentary on Northeastern India), written by RSS functionary Sunil Kitkaru.
He said that Sangh wanted the Hindu community to be strong enough to resolve its problems. A single leader cannot achieve it, but the entire organization must work towards this, he said.
He further said that awakening of Hindu community to identify its own responsibility is the need of the hour. Each person in the society should have self-esteem, high moral values, integrity, patriotism and discipline to fulfil their role in building an honest and true society, he claimed.
The revolutionaries also contributed to the freedom struggle, and also leaders like Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagwat said, adding not everyone went to jail, some stayed away.
He claimed that the country got independence only after the common people came together.
