Mumbai: Fashion influencer Uorfi Javed said that she is not affected by Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor's comments on her sartorial fashion sense. He had said her choices are "bad taste" and now Uorfi has said, "Ranbir can go to hell".

Uorfi is known for bold and unconventional fashion choices. She creates outfits using chains, shells, and garbage bags. Some people say that she dresses like that for publicity and others admire her confidence. Uorfi has declared that she dresses innovatively because it makes her look and feel good.

Ranbir Kapoor recently appeared on cousin Kareena Kapoor's chat show What Women Want. She asked his opinion on Uorfi's outfits. He said her choices are "bad taste". However, Kareena later said she thinks Uorfi is "extremely brave and gutsy".

Speaking about the social media influencer, Kareena said, "I am not as gutsy as Uorfi but I feel it's extremely brave and extremely gutsy. Fashion is all about expression and freedom of speech. I think that the confidence with which she pulls it off, I think, she looks really cool and amazing. The fact that she does exactly as she wants, that's what fashion is all about – when you are comfortable in your own skin and do exactly as you, please. I just love confidence. I am a confident girl so I am all for confidence. I just love her confidence and the way she walks. Hats off."

Speaking to Humans of Bombay, Uorfi said she is happy about Kareena's statement and now Ranbir can go to hell. "I was blown away, I couldn't believe it at first. I thought it was a joke, she must have criticised my outfits and people are fooling me by saying she has actually praised them. But then I saw the clip and that day I realised that I have achieved something in my life."

She added, "I was upset about Ranbir's comment but then after Kareena's compliment, I was like 'Ranbir can go to hell'. Kareena has praised me, I don't need anyone's validation or anything."
