Prashanth Neel's much-anticipated movie, Salaar: Cease Fire - Part 1, starring Prabhas in the lead role, stormed the box office on its opening day, amassing an impressive Rs 95 crore in net collections across India for all languages.

The film's phenomenal reception marked a grand entrance into cinemas. According to Sacnilk's report, the film achieved an overall Telugu occupancy rate of 88.93% on Friday, December 22, 2023.

It debuted across five languages - Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi.

Receiving mixed reviews from critics, the movie garnered a diverse range of opinions.

Film critic Saibal Chatterjee awarded the film a rating of 2.5 stars out of 5. In his critique, he highlighted, "Solid performances from Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran serve as the primary highlights of Salar: Part 1 - Ceasefire."

Produced by Hombale Films, Salaar: Cease Fire - Part 1 boasts a star-studded cast featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Eshwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu, and Sriya Reddy in significant roles.

The movie faced a box office clash with Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, and Boman Irani, upon its release on Thursday.
