Parineeti Chopra, the recently-wed Bollywood actress, opened up about her love for sarees and declared that she would wear them even to a birthday party.

The actress, who married Aam Aadmi Party member Raghav Chadha in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony, is juggling life between Delhi, her husband's base, and Mumbai. Her first post-wedding appearance at a fashion event saw her dressed in a caped saree, showcasing her pink chooda (bangles) and red sindoor (vermilion).

During the event, she discussed her saree obsession and her enthusiasm for dressing up after her marriage.

She said she has a newfound passion for dressing up, especially following her wedding. When asked where she would wear sarees, Parineeti expressed her intent to dress up more frequently and humorously declared that she would don a saree even for a birthday party.

The actress shared, "This year I'm going to spend a lot of time getting ready for festivals. So, even if you call me for a birthday party, I'm going to come dressed like this."

On the work front, after wrapping up her movie "Mission Raniganj" alongside Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra started preparing for her wedding with Raghav Chadha. Subsequently, she began filming for her upcoming movie, "Amar Singh Chamkila," scheduled for release next year.
