'Adipurush' to premiere at New York's Tribeca Festival

Adipurush to premiere at New Yorks Tribeca Festival

Entertainment: The Prabhas-Kriti Sanon starrer epic "Adipurush" is all set to premiere at the Tribeca Festival in New York.

Actress Kriti Sanon shared the news with fans on Instagram that she was thrilled to have it premiered at the prestigious festival on June 13 this year.

She wrote, "Beyond thrilled and proud that #Adipurush will have its world premiere at the prestigious Tribeca Festival on June 13, 2023, in New York! See you guys there."

She shared a character poster of Prabhas from the film, and netizens are celebrating it. The post is flooded with comments and love reactions and becoming viral on social media, obviously.

The Om Raut directorial features Kriti and Prabhas in lead roles, and the film is to hit big screens on June 16. Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh are also dealing with pivotal characters, and it will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

On Hanuman Jayanti, the crew released a fresh post of Devdatta Nage as Lord Hanuman and Prabhas' character in the background. With that poster, Kriti wrote, "Ram ke Bhakt aur Ramkatha ke praan...Jai Pavanputra Hanuman (a devotee of Ram and life of Ramkatha...Hail Lord Hanuman). Adipurush releases globally in theatres on June 16, 2023."

On Ram Navami also, the crew released a poster featuring Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Sunny Singh as Shesh and Devdatta Nage as Lord Hanuman. The picture had a side note which read, "Mantron se badhke tera naam Jai Shri Ram (Your name is greater than all chants. Hail Lord Ram)."


The movie is based on Ramayana, and the film is backed by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles.
