Aamir Khan marries Gauri Spratt in intimate ceremony

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt are now officially married after tying the knot in an intimate ceremony on Sunday, July 5, attended by close family members, friends and prominent guests.
Aamir's children — Junaid Khan, Ira Khan and Azad Rao Khan — were present at the ceremony. The couple wore traditional cream and beige outfits. A photograph shared by the actor's publicist showed Aamir signing the marriage documents while Gauri sat beside him in the presence of their family and friends.
Despite heavy rain and a red alert in Mumbai, filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, actor-director Vir Das and politician Raj Thackeray attended the wedding.
The marriage marks Aamir Khan's third. He married Reena Dutta in 1986, and the couple have two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan, before separating in 2002. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005, and they welcomed their son, Azad Rao Khan, through surrogacy. The couple announced their separation in 2021.
Gauri Spratt has worked in the fashion and beauty industry, including with a Bengaluru-based salon business, and later became associated with Aamir Khan Productions. She and Aamir have reportedly known each other for more than 25 years, although they entered into a romantic relationship only in recent years. Gauri was previously married and has a son from that marriage.
Earlier this year, on his 60th birthday celebrations in March, Aamir publicly spoke about his relationship with Gauri. He later confirmed that the wedding would take place on July 5 during the screening of Rajkumar Hirani's series 'Pritam and Pedro'.
“The wedding is on 5 July. We are hosting it at home; it's a very small, intimate affair. It is a very special day for us. Both families and a few close friends will be there,” Aamir had said.
