New Delhi: The Delhi Police's Special Cell detained a man at the Jahangirpuri area in the national capital for alleged connections with a Canada-based Khalistani terrorist, IANS reported citing official sources.
It is learnt that a team of Special Cell caught a few people from the Jahangirpuri area out of suspicion. The drive is part of the impending Republic Day. Those picked from the said area were suspected of having links with a Canada-based Khalistani terrorist.
The senior official, the source, said, "They were questioned, and one person has been detained in connection with the matter."
