The State Bank of India increased the cash withdrawal limit for its customers at non-home branches.

"To support our customers in this pandemic, SBI has increased the non-home cash withdrawal limits through cheque and withdrawal form," SBI tweeted.

Now onwards, customers can withdraw up to Rs 25,000/day for self through withdrawal forms and savings bank passbook. With cheques, one could withdraw up to Rs 1 lakh for oneself.

Regarding third party cash withdrawals, the bank increased the daily upper limit to Rs 50,000. Third-party withdrawals are only permissible with cheques and not withdrawal forms and require the KYC of the third party concerned.
