Oil companies hike commercial LPG price by Rs 25.5 per unit

New Delhi: Oil Marketing Companies increased the price on 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinders on Friday. The revised rates increased prices by Rs 25.50 and are effective Friday.

With the fresh hike, the 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder will cost Rs 1,795.00 in Delhi.

In Kolkata, the revised rate for the cylinder is Rs 1,911.00, while it is Rs 1,749.00 and Rs 1,960.50 in Mumbai and Chennai, respectively.

It was only on February 1st that companies hiked the price of commercial gas cylinders by Rs 14, Mint reported. Then, the price of said cylinders reached Rs1,769.50 (Delhi), Rs 1,887 (Kolkata), Rs 1,723 (Mumbai), and Rs 1,937 (Chennai).

In the first week of December, companies added Rs 21 to the price of cylinders in various locations across the country. However, Rs 39.50 was slashed on the eve of the new year 2024.
