Kozhikode: A unique Salat Clock app is introduced by unitypeace.com, a website which may help a Muslim to develop a 24 hour Islamic living habit.

Dr. CP Habeeb Rahman, the developer of the website, claims that this is the world's first 24-hour digital Salat clock. The clock is divided into 5 segments according to salat timings - Maghrib, Isha, Fajr, Dhuhr and Asr segments.

Users of this application not only develop a 24-hour Islamic living habit, but also safeguard themselves from deviation from the right path shown by the God, claims Dr. CP Habeeb Rahman.

The website also contains a diary where the user can mark his day's program including Salat. It also contains a calendar both Gregorian and Hijri, besides various other information.

A set of prinicples for successful Islamic living is well explained along with other assistance as a monthly and lifetime planner.

Mosques nearby, Halal restaurants, Qibla directions, Audio Quran etc also are available via this app.

Dr. CP Habeeb Rahman, a physician, headsUnity ILM Centre at Mangalore. He also guides numerous educational institutions and is a well known figure in medical as well as religious circles.

"Most of the Muslims have modern education but hardly have Islamic education except about the basic rituals. In their syllabus of school and college days, there is no syllabus on Islamic teachings. As a result, Muslim as a whole find it difficult to confront everyday life situations with Islamic values," Habeeb Rahman says.

He points out that being punctual with five time prayers in a day will enlighten the believers about the surplus time they have in 24 hours.
