The Kuwait Ministry of Interior has denied reports circulating on social media about the arrest of a terrorist cell inside the country.
The ministry said the claims are not based on any official source.
It said matters related to national security are handled with transparency and that any confirmed case would be announced through official channels in line with approved procedures.
The ministry urged the public to verify information and rely on official sources, including its official accounts and those of state authorities.
It also warned against circulating rumours or unverified reports, saying the publication or sharing of false news that harms the public interest may lead to legal action under existing laws and procedures.
