Vladimir Putin’ inner circle will kill him: Ukraines Zelensky

New York: Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed in a documentary featuring him that Russian president will be killed by his inner circle.

The Ukrainian documentary titled 'Year' was released on Friday to coincide with the anniversary of Russian invasion of Ukraine, Newsweek reported.

Zelensky predicted that a period of "fragility" will come in the Russian President's leadership, which will cause his close aide to act against him.

''There will definitely be a moment when the fragility of Putin's regime will be felt inside Russia. And then the predators will devour a predator. They will find a reason to kill a killer. They will recall the words of Komarov, of Zelenskyy...They will remember. They will find a reason to kill the killer. Will it work? Yes. When? I don't know," Newsweek quoted Ukrainian President as saying.

The prediction by Zelenksy comes as reports from Russian suggest growing frustration among Putin’s inner circle.

As videos from battle front showed soldiers complaining and crying, which left President’s closest allies frustrated, according to The Washington Post.

Despite these reports, UK’s Independent reported that many top Russian officials are so close to Putin it is unlikely for any such scenario to emerge.

Meanwhile Zelensky tweeted "This is our land. Our people. Our history. We will return the Ukrainian flag to every corner of Ukraine"

Russia, meanwhile, hasn't reacted to Zelensky's latest comments so far.
