Unicef provides assistance to countless Afghan families

According to UNICEF Afghanistan, 5,000 blankets, 1,700 tarpaulins, and 1,700 buckets have been distributed to 1,700 most vulnerable families in Herat Province to keep children and women warm and satisfied during this harsh winter.
According to Xinhua, most of the mountains in Asian countries have been covered with snow lately.

Afghans have been facing economic hardship since the Taliban took over the country in mid-August 2021.
