UAE Distributes Vaccines for Seasonal Influenza

Dubai: Seasonal influenza vaccines are made available at Dhs. 50 for expatriate community living in Dubai, announced the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). However, the DHA will administer the vaccine free for the citizens, age group of 65 and above, children aged below five, pregnant women, and people of determination. The authority's initiative which comes ahead of winter is administered in all primary health centres across Dubai, except Khawanej centre.

The vaccination scheme is part of the Seasonal Influenza Campaign which was launched to create awareness among the citizens and residents about vaccines and its necessity, especially during the pandemic era.
