Shooting in Philadelphia: 3 die, 11 get injured
text_fieldsPhiladelphia: In a fresh incident of rapid shooting in the United States late on Saturday, three people lost their lives, and at least eleven got injured. The victims were two men and women, but authorities have chosen not to reveal their identities, Associated Press reported.
Also, the condition of those wounded was also not revealed yet.
Police Inspector DF Pace told the media that officers were patrolling the location when they heard a series of gunshots. They saw multiple suspects firing at a large crowd who were having a weekend night. Though one of the patrol officers shot a suspect 9 meters away, it was not clear whether the targeted person got hit or not.
Pace said, "You can imagine there were hundreds of individuals just enjoying South Street, as they did every single weekend when this shooting broke out."
Two handguns were recovered, including one with an extended magazine, police said. No arrests have been made.
