Tokyo: US President Joe Biden turned the business-end of his criticism on Russia at the Quad summit in Japan on Tuesday.

Joe Biden alleged that Russian President Putin was trying to obliterate Ukrainian culture by attacking every school and church in the nation alongside military targets.

The humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, he said, was more than just a European issue.

The Quadrilateral Security Dialogue, or the Quad, is a strategic association among India, Australia, Japan, and the United States.

As for the US role in Quad, he said the US would be strong, steady and enduring partner in the indo-Pacific.

The US President said Quad would lead global response as partners as long as Russia would continue the war.

The Quad partnership, according to him, has a lot of works ahead despite it has already accomplished a great deal.

Concluding his speech, Joe Biden said he was proud of what all members were building together.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about mutual trust and determination giving new hope to democratic principles. He also said Quad gaining importance on global stage.
