Palestinian youth shot dead by Israeli police
text_fieldsRamallah: 24 years old Ahmed Fahad, an occupant of the al-Am'ari refugee camp, was shot and killed by the Israeli police forces for attempting to resist the forced expulsion in East Jerusalem.
Police fired at the march of Palestinians protesting in Beitar, West Bank, against the Israeli occupation of East Jerusalem. Though the police set up barricades, hundreds gathered in protest, overcoming them.
Police claim they fired when the protest became uncontrollable. Five others have also been critically injured. Fahad's father said that the police captured his son and shot him later point-blank.
After 11 days of brutality, Israel ordered a ceasefire last week, but since Israeli migration has only increased, the area is again prone to further agitations.
