New Delhi: Russia's next move in Ukraine confuses the West after it has offered to retreat from the bank of Dnipro River in Kherson.

Many analysts believe that Russian president Putin may have some vicious designs on his mind when he made the offer.

Today reports hint at Russia possibly resorting to nuclear weapons to end the war in Ukraine.

Reports of Putin referring to atomic bombing in Japan in his conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron has left Europe on edge.

Daily Mail reported as Putin telling Macron that there was no need to attack major cities in order to win, referring to nuclear bombing in Japan that led to the end of the Second World War.

Since Russia's set back in Ukraine including losing some areas to Ukrainian forces, western leaders started fearing Putin might use a "tactical weapon" for a conclusive to the war.

Putin never expected the war to drag so long when he ordered to move forces targeting Ukraine a few months ago.

Ukraine with the support and help of the US and the West resisted Russian's push despite losing vast swathes of land to the Russian forces.

In the last many months, Ukraine has been pushing Russian forces out from many areas, frustrating Putin's designs.

Meanwhile, Russia accused Ukraine of planning to use "dirty" bomb on Russia occupied Kherson, the bomb which Russia refers to is one of radioactive material.

Ukraine came out against the Russian allegation with the country's foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba saying, "Russians often accuse others of what they plan themselves".
