Islamabad: Former Pakistan Prime Minister and the chief of Tehreek -e-Insaaf (PTI) party, Imran Khan has found himself in a mess after an audio clip of his alleged intimate conversation with a woman surfaced on social media.

The clip went viral on social media after Pakistani journalist Syed Ali Haider shared it on YouTube. The audio clip, which is said to be the latest of a series of leaked conversations ascribed to Imran Khan after being expelled from power, is said to have emerged from the Pakistan Prime Minister's Office.

The audio created a shock in the Pakistani political realm, particularly when the county is months away from the general election.

Reacting to the audio clip, Imran Khan's PTI said it was an attempt by the government to target its chief with concocted videos and audio.

In the audio, it can be heard a man pursuing a woman to meet him and using lewd words in the conversation. However, the veracity of the voice in the audio clip is doubtful whether it belongs to Imran Khan, but Pakistan PM is being pummelled online.
