Donald Trump has come forward claiming victory in the presidential elections again via a tweet today which says, "I WON THE ELECTION!". Twitter flagged the tweet saying, "Official sources called this election differently."

Several courts have denied Trump's appeals questioning Biden's victory. Trump claims that Republican votes were turned and there was malpractice in the elections.

"It's time for US President Donald Trump to concede and accept the victory of the next president Joe Biden," said former President Barack Obama in an interview with CBNS News.

"When you look at the numbers objectively, Joe Biden will have won handily. There is no scenario in which any of those states would turn the other way, and certainly not enough to reverse the outcome of the election," Obama said.

Trump had accepted Biden's victory amidst accusations of rigging the election yesterday. Later he tweeted, "He only won in the eyes of the FAKE NEWS MEDIA. I concede NOTHING! We have a long way to go. This was a RIGGED ELECTION!"

On Saturday evening, trump supporters took to the streets in protest with the slogan 'Trump for more years' in Washington which was countered by a group claiming it to be unreasonable. A clash followed in which police arrested 20 to avoid conflict.

Trump, who has 232 Electoral College votes, is refusing to concede. He has challenged the victory of Biden in the states of Pennsylvania, Nevada, Michigan, Georgia and Arizona and demanded recounting of ballots in Wisconsin. Trump alleged that 2.7 million of his votes were deleted within which lakhs of votes were turned to Biden in the states of Pennsylvania and others.

Election security officials have denied Trump's allegations. They clarified that the election on 3rd November was the most secured of US elections and the allegations are baseless.

Biden won 306 of the total 538 Electoral College votes. Only 270 votes are needed to be elected President. Joe Biden will assume responsibility at the White House in January 2021. Trump is currently delaying the protocol and procedures to be followed for the turn over to Biden.
