Give us Modi, only he can deal with the situation: Pakistan man says
text_fieldsIslamabad: A footage showed a man from Pakistan saying if PM Modi were ruling Pakistan people would have been able to buy goods at reasonable prices, NDTV reported.
The video posted by Pakistani Youtuber Sana Amjad, who had stints at several media houses in the country, illustrates how difficult it is for people to live in Pakistan.
The man who responded to Sana Amjad ranted against the Shehbaz Sharif government over worsening economic situation of the country.
The Youtuber asked a local man why people raise the slogan 'Pakistan se zinda bhago chahe India chale jaao" (Run for your life away from Pakistan, even if it means taking shelter in India).
The man responded that he wished he weren't born in Pakistan, adding that if partition hadn’t occurred people would have been able to buy essential goods at reasonable price and feed their children.
The man wished that if Pakistan was not separated from India, people could buy tomatoes at PKR 20/kg, chicken for PKR 150/kg, and petrol at PKR 50 per litre.
"It is unfortunate that we got an Islamist nation but we could not establish Islam here," ANI quoted the man as saying.
He also said only PM Modi can deal with all the ‘mischievous elements’ in the country, adding that India is now the fifth largest economy while Pakistan is nowhere.
The man frankly said the he is ready to live ‘under Modi's rule’, further saying that Modi is not a bad human being and Indians buy tomatoes and chicken at reasonable rates.
Afterwards the man tearfully said that he prays to Almighty to give Pakistan Modi to rule the country.
He asked fellow Pakistanis to stop comparing Pakistan with India, because there is no comparison between the two countries.
