British royals express solidary with Israel, condemn Hamas attacks
text_fieldsLondon: The British King Charles III condemned what the Palace sources said the "barbaric acts of terrorism in Israel", BBC reported.
The royal family expressed solidarity with Israel after it was attacked by Hamas groups on Saturday morning, killing hundreds of civilians.
Prince William and Kate Middleton were reportedly ‘profoundly distressed’ by incidents developing in the region since Saturday.
The Prince and Princess of Wales believed that both Israelis and Palestinians are going to be ‘stalked by grief, fear, and anger’.
'The Prince and Princess of Wales are profoundly distressed by the devastating events that have unfolded in the past few days. The horrors inflicted by Hamas's terrorist attack upon Israel are appalling; they utterly condemn them,’ a spokesperson said.
The statement added that Israelis and Palestinians continue to be stalked by grief, fear and anger as Israeli exercises its rights to self-defense.
"In the midst of such terrible suffering, the Prince and Princess continue to share that hope without reservation,’ the statement said.
The Israeli forces claimed that most of 1,200 people killed in the Hamas attack were civilians.
Following the worst attack on its soil, Israel continues to pound Gaza Strip targeting Hamas.
Meanwhile United Nations said that more than 338,000 people in the enclave have been displaced.
