Biden handled USs retreat from Afghan poorly: Trump

Washington: Former president of the United States, Donald Trump said that there was never in history a withdrawal from war handled poorly and incompetently as how Joe Biden's administration did in Afghanistan, reports PTI. The US has flown its last military flight out of Kabul, retreating its forces entirely out of Afghanistan.

Trump demanded that in addition to what was already planned to return from Afghanistan, all equipment and the whole of 85 million US dollars spend there should also be returned. If it is not handed back, military force should be exerted "or at least bomb the hell out of it," he said. Nobody ever thought such a stupid, "feeble brained" withdrawal possible, he added.

More representatives of the Republic faction in the US seized the opportunity to lash out at the administration.

Former Secretary of the State, Mike Pompeo, alleged that the current administration was more focused on hitting arbitrary targeted dates rather than the conditions that will permit the execution of the mission that delivers on behalf of America. The US administration's obligation was on securing the American people rather than on departure date, he said.

Former American diplomat to the UN, Nikki Haley, described the withdrawal as a shameful retreat. She added that Biden is to blame if anything happens to US citizens and Afghan allies under the Taliban. China and Russia were enjoying the retreat and ready to seize the moment, and Biden's foreign policy could be catastrophic for the US, she said.

Congressman Mark Green said that the retreat was a disgrace, losing American lives, and the country is in a crisis of leadership as Biden has failed America. Another Republican Congressman, Lee Zeldin, said that many Americans, as well as US weapons and equipment worth billions, were now in the Taliban's hands. He added that the retreat was a historic disgrace.

Meanwhile, Biden has retained Special Representative for Afghan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad for last-minute negotiations with the Taliban.
