A man in China eats a live crab for pinching his daughter, falls seriously ill
text_fieldsAn overly protective father in China took revenge on the crab that pinched his daughter by eating it live.
South China Morning post reported that the 39-year-old Lu from Zhejiang in eastern China was taken to hospital after complaining severe back pain for two months.
Doctors could not identify exact cause of his ailment as pathology changes emerged in his chest, abdomen, liver and digestive system.
They asked as part of investigation if he had eaten anything usual for example game or something that could cause allergies.
Lu's wife would then mentioned the crab-eating incident to Doctor Cao Qian, the director of the digestive system department at the hospital where Lu was treated.
Lu confessed to eating a live crab saying that he was avenging his daughter's pain after being pinched by a crab.
Tests on his blood samples showed that he was infected by at least three parasites from eating the crab.
Recovered, Lu was discharged from the hospital on Monday and he has to appear there for regular check-ups.
