San Francisco: Music streaming platform Spotify has launched a new design for its home screen and it includes feeds for music, podcasts, and shows. The new feature is now available on Android and will be soon active on iOS.

The tech company in a blog post said that these feeds are created for listeners to easily scroll through the type of content they want at any given moment. "The updated interface will make the experience more personalised. It will also allow users to dig deeper into their recommendations."

In the new Music feed, Spotify listeners will have quick access to suggestions based on their taste in music. The changes are made to help people discover new favourites easily. Users will also receive album and playlist recommendations. There are also buttons that make it easy to share, like, and instantly play music.

In the Podcast and Shows feed, users can easily access new episodes of the programmes they have been listening to. Similar to the other feed, people will receive personalised podcast recommendations. Listeners can also read episode descriptions, save what they like to a session called 'Your Episodes', and start playing podcasts without leaving the page. The idea is to allow users to experience it all from one place.

These changes came soon after the platform introduced individual buttons for Shuffle and Play. Spotify said the updates will allow Premium users to choose the mode they prefer at the top of the playlists and albums.
