Storimart, a B2B e-commerce startup company from Kerala, surfs its way into Qatar markets after creating a client base in the UK and South Africa within a short span of time.

Storimart is one of the 25 startup companies selected as winners for the fourth edition of IdeaCamp, a program conducted by the Digital Incubation Center (DIC) of the Qatar Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC) to acknowledge entrepreneurs, developers and designers with the most up-to-date and remarkable technology ideas.

Out of 150 ideas, the selected business models were those that made use of artificial intelligence, advanced analytics and the Internet-of-Things to serve sectors like education, healthcare, sports tourism, agriculture, environment and transportation. Those selected also have met the DIC's criteria to attend six weeks long training workshops, including 33 training hours and mentoring sessions.

DIC is committed to enabling a supportive ecosystem for the digital startup sector in Qatar. DIC has witnessed the successful graduation of 100 startups, of which 18 have expanded internationally since 2011. Storimart expects to expand into the Qatar market, thanks to the new opportunity of winning the IdeaCamp.

Storimart 's specialised online-ordering application for the Seller and Buyer helps to enhance the operational efficiency of the MSME (Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises) sector in Kerala and the country in all. In the course of streamlining its processes, the company focuses on increased customer engagement and cost savings.

Through the digitalisation of existing traditional business, Storimart helps manage routine orders, improvise existing relationships with clients and boost sales. Storimart also enables business proprietors to have a custom application in their own business label.
