Apple becomes the No.1 smartphone seller after four years

Apple regains its record of being the brand that sells the most number of smartphones globally, overtaking Samsung. The abundant sales of the iPhone 12 series helped Apple to reclaim the position.

After 2016, it is for the first time Apple topped the sales race. The smartphone manufacturer had an increase of 15 per cent in sales compared to last year.

In the top five smartphone sellers, including Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo and Samsung, only Apple and Xiaomi attained growth.
