ICC men's T20I rankings: India return to top after Zimbabwe series win

India climbed back to the top of the ICC men's T20I rankings on Sunday after taking an unassailable 2-0 lead over Zimbabwe in the ongoing three-match series in Harare, replacing England at the top.
The reigning T20 World Cup champions regained the No. 1 ranking after England had overtaken Shreyas Iyer's side following their recent 4-0 series victory. India had also suffered a 0-2 series defeat against Ireland before bouncing back with consecutive wins over Zimbabwe, The New Indian Express reported.
The Men in Blue opened the series with a seven-wicket victory before securing the series by registering a commanding 90-run win in the second T20I.
In the individual rankings, India opener Ishan Kishan retained the top spot among T20I batters with 892 rating points after scoring a half-century in the second match. Abhishek Sharma remained second with 858 points.
Tilak Varma, who also struck a quick fifty in the second T20I, held on to the eighth position with 733 rating points.
Among bowlers, Varun Chakravarthy continued to be the only Indian in the top 10, retaining fifth place with 683 rating points despite not being part of the Zimbabwe series.
