Doha: Brazil on Monday beat South Korea 4-1 in the FIFA World Cup and entered the quarter-finals. Neymar has returned to the field for the last-16 tie. He also scored a penalty to move to 76 goals which left him just one away from equalling iconic player Pele's all-time record.

The five-time World Cup winners hadn't scored four goals in a game at the tournament since 1998.

Coach Tite made 10 changes to the Brazilian team after rotating his squad for the 1-0 loss to Cameroon. Danilo also returned as a left-back from injury. Eder Militao remained in his place.

The contest appears to be over in the first half itself when Brazil scored four goals and South Korea was yet to score one. Vinicius Jr and Neymar scored their goals in the seventh and 13th minutes. Richarlison scored the third goal in the 29th minute. Lucas Paqueta scored the fourth goal in the 36th minute.

In the second half, South Korea had a better strategy and kept Brazilian strikers at bay. Their one and only goal came in the 76th minute after persistent efforts. It was scored by Paik Seung-ho.

Brazil celebrated every goal by coming together to dance with their coach. The team will now play against Croatia in the quarter-finals.
