FIFA WC 2026: Switzerland beat Canada 2-1, Bosnia defeat Qatar 3-1, Brazil crush Scotland 3-0, Morocco overcome Haiti 4-2

Switzerland edged co-host Canada 2-1 in Vancouver, with Ruben Vargas and Johan Manzambi scoring the goals that sent the Swiss through as group winners. Canada also advanced to the next round as runners-up, despite the defeat.
Bosnia and Herzegovina beat Qatar 3-1 in Seattle to record their first World Cup win in 12 years. The result kept Bosnia’s knockout hopes alive, while Qatar exited the tournament after finishing bottom of Group B.
Brazil powered past Scotland 3-0 in Miami to seal top spot in Group C. Vinicius Junior scored twice, and Matheus Cunha added the third as the five-time champions continued their strong run.
Morocco produced a spirited comeback to defeat Haiti 4-2 in Atlanta and finish second in Group C. Haiti twice led in the contest, but Morocco turned it around with goals from Achraf Hakimi, Saibari, Soufiane Rahimi and Gessime Yassine.
