Will Kohli pull off form in the Asia Cup against Pakistan?

Virat Kohli never fails to scintillate his fans with his vast oeuvre of skills.

But fans doubt the cricketing star will be able to pull off his past form again as India sets out for Asia Cup campaign against archrival Pakistan on August 28.

One reason for worry is the former India captain often fails to retain his consistency.

He often teeters within the vicinity of the form and oomph but somehow fails to make it.

Since 2019 November, Kohli has failed to hit a ton, according to NDTV, leaving his fans hugely disappointed.

Eroding form remains a problem to him as he failed to score big during the Tour of England in all three formats, and was rested for the Tour of West Indies as well as Zimbabwe.

The upcoming Asia Cup might offer him a turnaround that could be called a comeback.

In the thick of these worries, Kohli opened up recently, saying that he knows where his game stands and was quoted by Star Sports as saying "You cannot run this far in your international career without having the ability to counter situations and counter conditions and counter different kinds of bowling. So, this for me, is an easier phase to process, but I don't want to put this phase behind me."

Admitting that there are ups and downs, he said he wanted to learn from it and wanted to understand what his core values are.

The cricketer further said that his experiences are sacred to him and knows how consistent can be.

The Asia Cup starts on August 27 in the UAE while the final will be played September 11, the report said.
