Thiruvananthapuram: After the misfortune India veterans faced against Australia in the ODI World Cup Final, Indian youngsters are making a fiery advance in the T20I series against the Australians. Suryakumar Yadav-led Indian had registered their second victory in the series after the match 2 on Sunday. And the highlight was India’s 3 top orders batter registering a rare feat.

Under Yadav, alias Sky, India made an enormous victory of 44 runs at the Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. India had put up a massive score of 235 in 20 overs, losing 4 wickets. They restricted the Aussies to 191/9.

Three of the top-order Indian batters, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Ishan Kishan scored 50-plus runs for India while Prasidh Krishna and Ravi Bishnoi took three wickets each, stemming the run flow.

For India, it was the first time India’s top three batters scored half-centuries in a T20 international. Also, it was only the fifth time any three batters marked the feat in said format of the game.

Opening the game for India, Jaiswal scored 53 off 25, adding 2 sixes and 9 boundaries. Ruturaj scored top among the three with 58 from 43 balls and Ishan Kishan 52 from 32 balls. Ruturaj scored 3 boundaries and 2 sixes while Ishan three boundaries and 4 sixes.

When leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi took three wickets for three runs, pacer Prasidh Krishna took his three giving 16 runs.
