Virat Kohli recently took a day off from his strict eating schedule and indulged in a delicious lunch of Hyderabadi Biriyani on Sunday at Mohammed Siraj’s home.

A day before the Royal Challengers Bangalore's IPL 2023 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Siraj hosted Kohli and other team members including Sarfaraz Khan, Manan Vorah, Parthiv Patel and Yuzvendra Chahal at his new house in Jubilee Hills, Film Nagar in Hyderabad.

In a viral video shared on social media by a Twitter user, Kohli and Faf du Plessis could be seen entering Siraj's house alongside other members of the team. RCB also shared pictures of the visit and captioned it: "Hyderabadi Biryani time! The boys took a pitstop at Miyan's beautiful new house last night!"

Besides biriyani, they were also served other delicacies like Patthar ka Gosht, Korma, Khoonani ka mertha and double ka meetha.

The players spent about two hours at Siraj’s house. Kohli and the team members sat on the floor and watched the Mumbai Indian vs Kolkata Knight Riders match as they ate lunch.

Mohammed Siraj who is from Hyderabad, plays for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, who signed him for a whopping INR 2.6 crores in the 2018 auctions.
