Mumbai: Bombay High Court acquitted two of the accused in a case of planning attack on the RSS headquarters in 2006.

The Aurangabad bench of the high court acquitted Asif Khan and Parvez Riyasuddin Khan.  Justice R. G. Avachat set aside the imprisonment and fine imposed by the Additional Sessions Court in 2017.

Asif Khan cannot walk out of the imprisonment as he is facing trial in the Mumbai train series blast case of 2006.

Asif was implicated in the RSS Headquarters attack case when he was in the custody of Maharashtra Anti-Terrorist Squad after being arrested in the train blast series case.

Asif was implicated in the first Malegaon blast case of 2006 also.

The court acquitted Asif and others accused in Malegaon blast case after the revelation of Swami Asimananda that Sanghparivar outfits were behind the blasts.
