Bengaluru: BJP President Amit Shah has kicked off his campaign in Karnataka where assembly elections are imminent.
Significantly, his visit port of call in the two-day tour was the LIngayat Math where he visited the leaders there.
BJP sources informed that he will also meet the farmers and traders of Karnataka. BJP is in an all-out effort to capture power in the only Congress-ruled state in the country.
Congress President Rahul Gandhi had also made a two-day tour of Karnataka when he mainly visited places of worship of different communities.
