Lawyer for Kathua Victim’s Family, sends legal notice to Zee Hindi News for alleged false news

New Delhi: Counsel representing the family of victim in Kathua rape-murder case, Advocate Deepika Singh Rajawat, has served a legal notice on Zee Hindi News allegedly for telecasting a false news report undermining her image, livelaw.in reported.

In the notice, the advocate took strong objection to the program run by Zee Hindi News which hinted that she had stayed in Jawaharlal Nehru University, carrying an insinuation that she had supported anti-national activities. She denied that she had stayed in the university.

Moreover, it is also stated that to draw the conclusion of anti-national activity from the act of staying in JNU was defamatory to the institution as well.
