UAE to open Hajj 2026 registration on September 24, priority for first-time pilgrims

The General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments announced that registration for pilgrims intending to perform Hajj next year will open on September 24, 2025.

Applications must be submitted online through the authority’s official website or smart app, with the registration window running until October 9.

Officials said the early opening is aimed at improving efficiency and streamlining services to ensure smoother travel arrangements for Emirati pilgrims.

The authority has also urged Emirati citizens who have not previously performed Hajj to apply within the designated period, highlighting efforts to give priority access to first-time pilgrims and ensure fair participation.
